Walk Through Bethlehem/ Crazy Weekend
Well this is a weird weekend, We went to set up for walk through bethlehem Friday night, and stayed there covering the walls of Megan's classroom with brown craft paper and bed sheets until about 11:30, I was trying to stay up so I could sleep durring the day Saturday because I had to go into work Saturday night at 11. We did walk through bethlehem from 4-6 Saturday, it went really well I thought, Rachel did well with welcoming the people to town and telling them of the expectant couple that had come to town. Brother steve was the pushy soldier, it was funny watching him usher people out of the house and into the marketplace. The market place in the fellowship hall was very extravagant, they had real turtle doves and real (huge) fish(on ice)! Everybody totally out did themselves (I hope Meg, Rachel, and Kasey are feeling better today after finally having all that sewing done!) We had a ton of visitors who had never been there before, if one person got a blessing, it was all worth it. Everybody worked together to clean up, and it went pretty fast, even though it looked like a war zone for about 2 hours. I went to Joe Muggs coffee and got a Chai Latte, trying to stay awake, because I only was able to sleep in to about 10:30 am. I got to work at 10:45, the guys were there waiting at the top of the parking garage at St. Thomas hospital. We had to go into a pharmacy room and cover all of the counters and computer equipment with plastic and put up a plastic partition before we could start drilling holes in the floor above, we eventually got the three holes drilled after having to move one over to miss a steel beam. I was the guy who used the shop vac to suck up water and try to keep it from dripping through the other holes to the floor below (as much as possible). We ran some 3 and a half inch diameter pipe through the holes and across the ceiling below. We ate at the cafeteria at about 1:30 am, because it closes at 2. At about 4:30, Sidney let me go home, because I was looking very tired, and he was worried about me making it home ok, because I had the longest to drive. So, all that for about 5 and a half hours, but oh well, we need all the extra money we can get. I feel crummy because I missed church this morning, I'm gonna try to kick it in high gear this week, and get ready for this baby, spiritually, emotionally, and physically (getting this house ready). Please pray for me, the weight of it all is getting more and more real.

Praying for you guys as always. You'll do great Brad. This baby is a blessing God has given you and Rachel and he knows you are ready.
With this and everything that is ahead...He is there with you all. I'm so very proud of you both.
praying! you'll do great with this baby. no worries. it's amazing how you have no prior experience but as soon as the baby gets here, you know exactly what to do. just the comfort of a mommy & daddy is enough most of the time. if yall need anything or have any questions, let me know! :)
thanks, both of you, I need all the support and encouragement I can get!
