The Ultimate Adoption

We played Joseph and Mary tonight at church, The service was set up as a "baby shower" for Jesus, and we played His parents. We spoke from the standpoint of the parents to be, and told of how we were feeling at the time of this wondrous event. The birth of the Savior of the world, the Son of God. I can't begin to imagine what it might have been like. Knowing I'm going to be a daddy of a normal child(as normal as a child of mine can be that is), how absolutely unfathomable would the idea of being the caretaker of God's own son be! The Lord will be with me though, in the same all knowing, all caring way He was with Joseph during that time. That is the only thing that keeps me going, give me the strength to face tomorrow.

I miss my family, I sure don't like the idea of spending Christmas without any of them. Pray that it will work out for some or all of them to come this weekend. We're going to the doctor in the morning, to see what the deal is with the baby. May everything work together for His good, because we love Him.

Yes, the Lord will most assuredly be with you as he was with Joseph. Your Dad had to play "God" in the cpma skit Wed. night (someone was sick so it was a last minute thing but it was really anointed). He brought his baby and handed him to Mary and told the people, I have so many gifts for you that you won't even take! He started handing out gifts..named joy, peace, patience, love, hope, etc. It was so cool. Hope your appointment went well today. Let us know! Mom

Just want you to know you all are in our prayers...
Smile...Just think how Joseph must have felt!

We did the same play @ Rocky Mount that we did the last year we were at Hickory...
